Privacy, kept local
Event Sounds turns your iPhone into a live microphone and local sound player. Your voice and imported audio are processed on your device—not collected by us.
Event Sounds does not ask you to register, sign in, or create a profile.
There are no advertisements, analytics SDKs, or tracking technologies in the app.
Microphone processing, speech detection, music ducking, and playlists stay on your device.
Event Sounds is provided by Loming AI Limited (“Loming AI”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). This policy explains how the app handles information when you use it.
Event Sounds does not require an account and does not collect, transmit, sell, or share personal data. The app does not include advertising, analytics, tracking, cloud storage, or an online service operated by us.
The app works with microphone audio, sound files you choose, playlist details, and a small number of preferences. These are handled locally on your device as described below.
Event Sounds requests microphone permission only when you use the Live Microphone feature. While a live session is active, audio from the iPhone microphone is processed in real time and sent through the audio output selected by iOS, such as a connected Bluetooth speaker.
Microphone audio is not recorded, saved, transcribed, uploaded, or sent to Loming AI. Voice processing and detection of whether someone is speaking happen on the device. Speech detection is used only to lower and restore music volume when the automatic ducking option is enabled; the app does not identify words or speakers.
You can stop a live session at any time and can withdraw microphone permission in iOS Settings.
You choose which audio files to import through Apple's document picker. Event Sounds copies the selected files into the app's private local storage so they can be played individually or as a playlist.
The copied audio files, their display names, durations, and playlist order remain on your device. We cannot access them, and the app does not upload them to us. If a selected file comes from iCloud Drive or another file provider, that provider may process the request under its own privacy policy.
Event Sounds stores settings such as your selected music-volume behavior locally on your device. These preferences are used only to remember how you want the app to behave and are not sent to us.
If audio is active when you leave the app or lock the screen, Event Sounds may continue microphone processing or music playback in the background. This is an iOS audio capability used only to maintain the session you started. It does not cause the app to collect or transmit audio.
Apple provides the App Store, iOS permission controls, the document picker, audio routing, and related operating-system services. Apple may process information about downloads, purchases, device operation, or use of its services under Apple's own privacy policy.
Review Apple's Privacy Policy and the privacy policy of any third-party file provider you choose for more information. Event Sounds does not contain third-party advertising or analytics SDKs.
Because we do not collect your app data, we do not retain it on our servers. You can remove an imported sound from within Event Sounds. Deleting the app removes its locally stored playlist, copied audio files, and preferences from the device, subject to normal iOS backup and device-management behavior.
Event Sounds is a general-audience utility and is not directed specifically to children. The app does not ask users of any age to create an account or provide personal information to us.
We may update this policy if the app's features or legal requirements change. We will publish the revised policy on this page and update the effective date. If a change materially affects how the app handles information, we will provide notice where appropriate.
