On-device meeting notes
for teams that can’t
let data leave.

LoNotes records, transcribes, and summarizes meetings entirely on the iPhone — every AI model runs on-device. No cloud, no account, no servers. Your recordings, transcripts, and summaries never leave the phone.

iOS 26+ · Free · No account required
§ I · In one paragraph

LoNotes records a meeting, transcribes it, and runs a language model over the result — entirely on the iPhone, with no round-trips to a server. The audio, the transcript, the summary, and the searchable knowledge index are all created and stored on the device and never sent anywhere. There is no account and no cloud sync, so when the recording stops, the only thing that has moved is text on your own phone.

§ II · What you see in a meeting

Three screens, one device.

Press the record control to start a session, and again to stop. A live transcript scrolls as the room talks, each passage captioned and questioned. A private knowledge index reads the files you attach and answers from them. Every step runs on the iPhone.

Each meeting starts when you press the burgundy wax stamp. Press it again to stop — or, later, to add another session to the same entry.

§ IV · How it runs on-device

A studio rack, not a flowchart.

Four on-device modules. Audio enters the top, the finished conversation comes out the bottom. Each runs locally on the Apple Neural Engine — none of them have a network jack on the back.

§ V · The on-device models

Five on-device models. Pick one, or keep them all on hand.

Every model runs entirely on the device. Apple Intelligence is the default — it uses the system model your iPhone already ships with, so there is nothing to download. The other weights live on the phone and load on demand; the recommendation is set in red ink.

§ VI · On the roadmap
COMING SOON

What the studio will do next.

The studio ships small and grows fast. These are the features on the bench right now — if one of them is the reason you would switch, it is close.

— Real-time translation
Hear the room in one language, read it in yours as it scrolls — translated on the phone, with nothing sent away.
— Cloud sync (optional)
An opt-in sync across your own devices, off by default. Leave it off and nothing changes — the on-device guarantee holds.
— Multi-session export
Per-meeting Markdown export ships today; bulk export of the full library — text and audio — lands in v1.2.
— Learned diarisation
A model that tells speakers apart by voice, replacing today's heuristic so two similar voices no longer share a chip.
— Apple Watch
A wrist remote for the wax stamp — start, stop, and add a session without reaching for the phone.
§ VII · Frequently asked

Privacy, answered.

The questions enterprise and privacy-conscious teams ask first — about where meeting data lives, what runs on-device, and who can see it.

Does my meeting data ever leave the iPhone?
No. The audio, transcript, speaker labels, summaries, and knowledge index are created and stored on the device. LoNotes has no servers and no account, so your meeting content is never uploaded — we never receive it and cannot read it.
Do the AI models run in the cloud?
No. Every model runs on-device. Apple Intelligence — the system model your iPhone already ships with — is the default; you can also download open models that run on the Apple Neural Engine and CPU. Transcription, summaries, and the knowledge index are all local.
Does LoNotes work offline?
Yes. After the one-time model download you can switch to Airplane Mode and the app works identically. The Knowledge tab still answers questions about past meetings because the embeddings are stored locally too.
Can IT, Loming, or anyone else access my recordings?
No. There is no admin console, no cloud account, and no server that stores your content. Only the person holding the iPhone can open a meeting, and deleting it on the device removes it for good.
Is it suitable for confidential or regulated meetings?
Because no meeting content leaves the device or reaches any third party, there is no external processing of meeting data to disclose or account for — which keeps data-residency and confidentiality requirements simple. You remain the only custodian of the recording.
Can I export my meetings?
Yes. Per-meeting Markdown export ships today; bulk export of the full library — text and audio — lands in v1.2. Exports are plain files you control.
Is it free? What about ads?
The app is free, supported by ads from Google AdMob and AppLovin. Those networks collect limited device and advertising data — never your meeting content, which stays on the phone. A one-time $1.99 purchase removes ads and disables those SDKs. No subscription, and we run no analytics of our own.
Will there be an Android version?
No. LoNotes is iOS only, built around Apple silicon and the on-device system model.
