Information We Process
Information stored on your device
Solitaire Duel creates a random, app-specific device identifier and stores it on your device. The identifier lets the game sign you in to online play without asking you to create an account. Game preferences and other local game data may also be stored on your device.
This local information can generally be removed by deleting the app and its data.
Information used for online play
When you use online duel features, Solitaire Duel sends the app-specific device identifier to our game service. The service assigns an internal player ID and processes the information needed to provide a match, including:
- your matchmaking queue and selected game mode;
- internal player, session, and match identifiers;
- game actions and game-state messages exchanged during a duel;
- match connection and lifecycle information; and
- technical connection information, such as IP address, timestamps, and diagnostic or security logs that may be generated by our servers and hosting providers.
We use this information only to authenticate your game session, provide matchmaking and multiplayer gameplay, maintain service reliability, prevent abuse, troubleshoot problems, and protect the security of the service.
Offline solo play does not require a connection to our multiplayer service.
Advertising and app activity
The free version uses Google AdMob and the Google Mobile Ads SDK to show and measure full-screen ads. Depending on your device settings, region, and consent choices, Google may process device identifiers (including the advertising identifier when Apple permits access), IP address and approximate location derived from it, ad interactions, product interactions, diagnostics, crash data, and performance data. This information may be used to provide advertising, measure ad performance, prevent fraud, perform analytics, and maintain app functionality.
We do not receive your name or contact details from AdMob. Google processes this information under its own privacy terms and as a service provider or independent controller where applicable.
Advertising, Consent, and Tracking
Solitaire Duel uses Google's User Messaging Platform to request and store advertising consent where required. The app also asks for Apple's App Tracking Transparency permission before an advertising identifier may be used for tracking. You may decline that permission and can change it later in iOS Settings.
Where available, choose Options → Privacy Choices in the app to review or change regional advertising consent. Declining personalised advertising does not necessarily remove ads; it limits how ads are selected and measured. You can buy Remove Ads to stop full-screen advertising in the app.
Learn more in the Google Privacy Policy and Google's explanation of how AdMob uses data.
In-App Purchases
Remove Ads is a one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase processed by Apple through the App Store and StoreKit. We receive the product identifier and entitlement or transaction status needed to unlock the feature, but Apple handles your payment details. Purchase history and entitlement status may be associated with your Apple Account by Apple. Restoring purchases asks Apple to verify that entitlement.
See Apple's Privacy Policy for information about Apple's processing.
Information We Do Not Request
Solitaire Duel does not require you to provide a name, email address, phone number, postal address, or social-media account. We do not receive your payment-card details from Apple, and we do not sell your personal information.
Retention
The app-specific device identifier remains on your device until the app's data is removed. Daily ad-frequency and Remove Ads entitlement state may also be cached on your device. Google and Apple retain advertising, consent, diagnostic, and purchase information according to their respective policies. Server-side session, matchmaking, gameplay, diagnostic, and security information is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, and improve the service, comply with legal obligations, and resolve disputes. Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information and the reason it is processed.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures designed to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
International Processing
Our service providers and systems may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.
Children's Privacy
Solitaire Duel is not designed to collect personal information directly from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us so that we can investigate and, where appropriate, delete it.
Your Choices and Rights
You can play offline without using the multiplayer service. You can also remove locally stored information by deleting the app and its data.
You can decline Apple tracking permission, change it in iOS Settings, review advertising consent through Options → Privacy Choices where available, or purchase Remove Ads. These controls do not affect information that must be processed for security, fraud prevention, purchase verification, or core app functionality.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or restriction of certain personal information, or to object to or obtain a copy of certain processing. To make a request, email us at the address below. We may need information sufficient to verify and process your request.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy at this URL and revise the effective date above. Material changes will be communicated where required by law.
